Complexion Bars/Scrubs

In 2012, I created Soap fetish (SF) & was having a blast with all my hand-carved, glittery, fun soaps. But(t), in 2019, I got skin cancer on my face in two prominent places.  Mohs surgery was performed on my eyebrow, while “liquid radiation” was used on my forehead:  both results were “not good.” Understatement!!!  To improve on these results, I opted for a natural route over plastic surgery, or, really, really long bangs. Even though I have no medical or scientific training in this area, I felt sure my deep dive into healthy options would prove fruitful.

After months of research, two soaps & one serum later, I was appreciating some great results & wanted to share them with/force them on my friends, family & a few SF customers. They, too, loved the soaps & wanted more, asking for ingredients to treat other skin conditions (acne, eczema, hyper-pigmentation, rosacea & MORE).

So, I dove back in to the healthy-skin-research-pool.  It’s DEEP!  I found honey, caffeine, turmeric, myrrh, oatmeal, hemp, olive oil, tea tree, aloe, kelp, butters, goat’s milk, dandelions, magnesium, essential oils, beetroot, rosehips, vitamins galore & SO MUCH MORE.  I’m devoted to learning, experimenting and creating new products to meet customers’ individual needs.

All of these detergent-free, loong-lasting soaps can be made in traditional oval, rectangle or floral forms, as well as the popular shapes found at Soap Fetish.  A soap saver comes with each bar to wick away moisture & prolong the life of any soap (and keep them from sticking to your sinks/counters)!  Below you’ll find descriptions of our complexion bars.  After you find the one(s) that will work for you and your gorgeous face, pick the shape(s) you like and let your imagination run wild – customs always available. 😊

The Coffee Bar (Espresso Yourself), our caffeinated soap that lightens & brightens, opens pores & reduces redness. Many say it reduces the appearance of cellulite! Contains coffee grounds & caffeine extract in a base of shea, cocoa & mango butters – super-moisturizing.  Smells like your favorite cup of Joe.

It’s a Myrrh-acle, I Tell Ya! Is our aloe & olive oil super soap with zeolite clay & myrrh gum.  It’s packed with anti-oxidants & great for healing, anti-aging, moisturizing & skin-tightening in a bright citrus & sandalwood.  

Goatmeal, made with goat’s milk & colloidal and ground oatmeal(s), it’s soothing & healing for a broad range of skin conditions.  The vanilla bean notes complement this moisturizing and gentle bar, superb for sensitive skin.  

Beehive Yourself! is made with raw honey & turmeric, soothing inflammation while improving skin texture and moisturizing bee-you-tifully!  (Bee or honey allergies would make this a no-no!).  Smells like honey, honey!

You’re Such a Honey is also made with raw honey.  This soap is amazingly gentle and terrifically moisturizing.  Great for every skin type UNLESS you are allergic to bees or honey! This one also smells like honey, honey!

You’re Bloomin’ Gorgeous! Contains mango, shea & cocoa butters, Sea buckthorn extract, elderberry extract and rose kaolin clay…a soothing, hydrating, stimulating uber-cleanser with lovely floral notes!

Lump of Coal is not just for your Christmas stocking! This activated-charcoal powerhouse is made with hemp oil, removing toxins, dirt, impurities & won’t clog pores.  If you’re prone to acne or breakouts, this one’s for you! The scent is a musky sandalwood with a wisp of rosewood…beautiful.

True Grit is our super-scrubber containing three butters, pumice sand and pumice powder. Great for grime, clean-up & rough skin. The brown/green and gray/silver are scented with bourbon & vanilla, while the pink/silver is scented with a “sha”nel classic.

Kelp is on the Way!  In a base of olive oil & aloe, we’ve added seaweed powder (kelp) & fine zeolite clay for emollient & purifying properties. Rich in B12, E, amino acids, iodine & phenols.  Great facial cleanse & detox.  Scents of the sea with a side of citrus.

Cuckoo for Coconut contains coconut milk – soothing, hydrating & nourishing. It’s high in Vitamin C, which helps elasticity, and copper, to aid in reducing red spots, loose skin & wound healing.  Smells like coconut, of course…your skin is gonna drink this up!

My Pore Baby is in a base of tea tree and contains Litsea Cubeba, an amazing essential oil used in traditional Chinese medicine. It has gentle astringent properties to clean & reduce the appearance of pores. Anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, even works on body odor.  With an uplifting citrus scent, it’s great for acne-prone or oily skin.

My Cuppa Tea is made with goat’s milk, ceremonial grade matcha tea, ground green tea leaves and green tea extract. Benefits include reducing redness and hyper-pigmentation, speeding up cell turnover and increasing skin elasticity.  Scented with green tea extracts & jasmine. Love this!

Dandy Lion, King of the Herbs bestows the trifecta of skincare vities, A, C and E.  They encourage healthy skin cell production, promote elastin & collagen formation, even out skin tones and MORE! Contains the flower, root and leaves of the real plant and we’ve added a light floral.

It’s Tea(tree) Time is a super-cleanser and contains tea tree oil, peppermint essential oil, white kaolin clay, olive leaf powder & peppermint leaf.  It cleans, soothes, smooths and polishes! Fantastic healing properties, also great for blemishes.

Orange You Special! Is loaded with citrus oils, offering powerful antimicrobial & antibacterial benefits, while Vitamin C is a vital molecule for skin health & regeneration. We’ve added carrot powder, a mild exfoliant, to help repair & tone the skin & “pores” on the vities, A, Bs (1,2,3,6 & 12), more C + E & K, and some minerals.  Very, very a-peeling!

Lemon-Aid is loaded with citrus oils, offering powerful antimicrobial & antibacterial benefits, while Vitamin C is a vital molecule for skin health & regeneration. We’ve mixed in silk peptides for extra moisture retention, brighter skin & added a-peel! Feels like silk…

The Beet Goes On!  Beetroot is packed with anti-oxidants which help reduce/remove early signs of aging & fine lines.  A great detoxifying agent, it helps stimulate blood flow, replenish skin cells & boost elasticity.  A great moisturizing cleanse in floral notes. 

What the Hell is Rosehip? It’s oil and or powder (we’ve used both) extracted from the seeds of wild rose plants. It contains highly concentrated Vitamin C, as well as Vitamins E, A and D, helping to stimulate collagen, soothe redness & moisturize dehydrated skin. Contains goat’s milk, cocoa, mango & shea butters & lots of love, in notes of bayleaves, rose, basil, eucalyptus. 

Olive Ya, Baby!  Loaded with vitamins & minerals, our aloe & olive oil formula contains mango butter, olive leaf powder, colloidal oatmeal & is GREAT FOR ALL SKIN TYPES! It’s a rich source of linoleic acid & antioxidants, which strengthen skin barriers & create the ultimate moisturizing cleanser. LOVE THIS earthy bar…

Life would Succ without You is loaded with cactus, aloe & agave extracts in a base of aloe & olive oil.  They offer a host of benefits to soothe, hydrate & balance ph levels, while boosting elasticity & moisture levels. Notes of cactus blossom, lily & rose are balanced with those of amber, musk & sandalwood .  Can we get an aloe-lulia???
